i have sulfer water at my home and was wondering if sulfur water would be bad to use as a water change source?if so,is there anything i can do so i can use it.My father-inlaw supplies me with water.i cant rely on him for ever._

you could buy distilled water, or an rodi unit, but i dont know too much about them...
hopefully someone know's more and can help :-p

Ditto what Defect said.. RO is the way to go, or, distilled from the grocery store. Hope it's a small tank. ;)

Distilled at wal mart runs around .69 per gal.If you do not want to buy a ro/di unit you might be abl to purchase water that you LFS makes. If not go with the wal mart water I have used it for about 3 years and have had good luck.I just got a ro/di unit well I ordered it from ebay and it was around 130 with shipping and it does 110 gal per day.Scott

I've used storebought ro-di bought in bulk for the past year, not the most cost effective but I' don't have to deal with any phosphate or sulfur. Other options are the Kent tapwater filter which is just a DI filter but get's you water for about .10 - .20 a gallon that could be passable depending on the quality of your water.
