I am treating my fish display tank with hyposalinity. It's been 16 days.
Initially there was ammonia spike detected with my Seachem Ammonia alert and the ammonia spike seemed to subsided.
My problem now is the water seemed a lot more cloudy compare to my reef tank. The skimmer also doesn't function well in low S.G. I am trying Seachem Purigen and activated carbon and the improvement seemed to be limited.
I am suspecting a bacteria bloom. I have been changing 20% water every 2 - 3 days and still the improvements seemed limited.
Should I be concerned and what can I do without removing the fish from the display.
