that one is cheap but shipping is just about the same price. looking to grab something local. I will drive to pick it up as well.

You might try Tractor Supply in Amherst too.

yeah i have been looking online maybe i just need to call the stores ill give that a try.

Im just thinking if the 55gal containers is enough water to change out on a 265 gal system or if i should get the 65 dan has at salty

The 80 gallons I have is only about 20% of my entire system ~400 gallons. I was a little worried this was too small, but given it only takes 24 hours to mix up a new batch I can still do 20% change a week if needed. 55 = 20% of your system and 65 = 24.5%. I think the only time it would be too small was if you really needed to do a large water change if something went wrong. I guess at that point you have big problems anyway.

This thread is fairly old. Wanted to see if anyone has used Brew Kettle lately or found another place to pick up a 50-60 gallon container for water for a reasonable price

I picked up a 75 gal water container from tracktor supply there is one out in Elyria it actually works well it fits under my tank because it’s not the drum style. May want to check with them they might have something.

I have (2) white 50 gallon vertical water storage containers. They have graduations to tell you how much water is left in them. I kept fresh water in one, and salt water in the other. I'd sell the set of them for $100. PM me your number and I'll text you a pic.

There is a guy in Massillon selling food grade 55gal barrels with lids for $20/barrel. I just picked up 4 last week. Tags on the barrels said they contained tomatoes.

Send me a message for his contact number or search Craigslist for his ad.
