Ok so I ordered my RODI barracuda *yay!!*

I want to use a brute can to mix the water and use the roller to move it to the tank that needs it (will keep 5g jugs inside). Any remaining water, cant it be kept in the brute can outside with a top? I have a cover porch and I live in south Alabama so it gets hotttt.

what yall think?

Not a problem other than the heat assuming its a sealed container....

How do you plan to manage the heat though?

I've kept rodi in a 55 gallon plastic drum with a removable lid in the garage just fine. I don't see any issue for you. I live in Texas so heat gets very high here also.

if your using the water for topping off your tanks, that would be like only 1 or 2 gallons a day at most. even if the water is at 90 degrees it really shouldn't affect your tanks temps that much, if at all. adding 1/4 gallon of 90 degree water to 180 of water wont do much there also should be very little evaporation, that's why you cover it.
