I am currently building a 72(L) X 36(W) x 24(H) tank and I have a sequence dart with an oceans motions 4 way on it. I would like to keep sps.
First question is should I use it? I have been looking for a little while and saw that Hydor is making larger flow Koralias. The largest will flow 3250 gph at only 19watts. As long as it dosn't push the side of my tank off, lol. The dart will only flow a max of 3600gph at 145 watts (0' head). Powerwise and the fact that I wouldnt have to drill my tank make me lean toward the koralias. Now I dont know if you could run them on a red sea wavemaster, or what I could use to control them?
Second question is if I do use the dart, how should I plumb it, and direct the flows?
