Water flow on my Anemone

I put my anemone in fairly low water flow area in my 35 gallon tank attached to rock he was on at store. He stayed there a couple weeks (clowns seemed to love it) then one weekend he moved to the other end of the tank and up near top of rocks where he gets blasted with water flow. I have it set to turn on and off. "clowns seem kinda bummed" I assume it prefers the flow and leave it alone?

They go where they are comfortable, leave it be and leave your flow alone as long as there is enough. If you continuously mess with the flow they will continuously move to find there place.

That's what i assumed. He is OK with the flow blasting on and off like wave action so the Clowns will have to get over it or just hang around away from the current.
