water in the airline TUNZE 9002

Hello,

I'm having some trouble here and i'm wondering if any of you can please help me...
I've installed my skimmer and been using it for about a year with no problems.. After i made the airline modification i've realized that whenever i put the skimmer in the tank the water rises at the airline, producing noise at the end of it, in the air valve. Does anyone know if it's normal or am i missing something, i did just exactly as the video shows, but always the water rises at the waterline...

This modification is not something we suggest, if the airline is curved down to exit the cord slot, the water will be trapped in the tubing in the curve and make a noise. you could try removing the valve for some seconds and if the airflow is higher it may be able to remove the water. A check valve in the airline may also help, but the problem could be that the check valve is too strong and reduces the airflow.
