Having only just assembled my GHL Water Level Sensor Bar Assembly last night I was wondering how I mount this to my sump? I didn't look at it for more than five minutes, but it seems like it was built only to be able to mount to a horizontal surface and the side of my sump is vertical.
Of course, I’m in the office right now and can’t go look at it so maybe if I took another look tonight I could actually figure this out on my own… who knows?
Anyone have any pictures of this mounted and in use on an AGA style tank?
Should the sensor be used to trigger a dosing pump for top off usage?
This seems like it wouldn’t work as the directions state:
Important hint: While programming it must be assured that the pumps run for max. 15 minutes continuously, the subsequent pause must be at least as long as the previous duty cycle!
Is the fifteen minutes just so the pump isn’t constantly cycling on and off thus shortening it’s life span?
Is there a way to tell a socket to turn on based on a specific dosing pump being turned on? I’d like to put a solenoid on the incoming lines to my sump so I don’t get extra water in the sump if I can avoid it. So when the dosing pump turns on the solenoid opens, when it turns off the solenoid closes.
Are there any parts in the pump that will regularly need maintenance or replacement?
