Lets face it we've all forgot about the RODI, been draining somthing into a 5 gal bucket, or had a nasty sump break. What is the most water you've spilled in one sitting?

Had my RODI waste line in the wash machine, forgot to turn it off over night and when i got home for lunch found i calculated about 40 gallons of water on the floor. That was my worst time.

i lost about forty gal. of ro in my basement.the good news is my wife had to clean it up the bad news ,i get to hear about it for the rest of my life.

@lowrider thats pretty funny when i lived at my parents i always got yelled at for water on the floor, now i only hear it from myself.

@Johnike.. :eek2: how did that happen? That's a crazy you can see even the room size how deep that is.

Rubber PVC isolator on the closed loop let loose.

I've been lucky so far, and have never spilled more than 5 gallons at a time so far. But, I'm still fairly new at this. I'm sure the amount will go up eventually.

25 gallons in the middle of the night due to the flexable tubing popping off the return pump. The pump squealing woke me up

this thread was timed right. woke up this am to my 100 gal sump hemorrhaging a steady stream. the fitting in the bottom of the 100 gal rubber maid tank decided to let go. so 8 hrs later completely overhauled my sump system added a frag tank to it I am now ready to turn the water back on........ and see if it leaks.

Tis the season!!! My overflow wasnt working so i felt a snail in it, wiggled one of the elbows free to poke him out...came home to a nice wet mess. i somehow loosened the bulkhead from my corner overflow. Threw a HOB filer up top since its to late to monitor, will be firing up the loop tomorrow. Good luck with yours!

Somedays i look at the coral in awe....then days like this i ask why...why did i get in too deep!

I leave my RO on at least once a week and end up with 20+ gallons on the floor... I finally went out and bought a timer valve for it. :rolleye1:

I put my water jugs in a brute container I use for wAterchanges, if they over fill I catch it in that. I also put a timer on my phone to remind me to change them.

If you have a sink nearby that would work better for water overflowing.

I think that is my biggest offence....i run my waste water into my washer ,in town so i pay for water, why waste it when you can use it....and 12 hours later........ughhhh...

You would think after how many mistakes ive made i would change a few things...NOPE!!! Haha
