Ok Looking for more water movement......right now I have my return 2x 3/4 loc-line with a mag 7....which is in the center...pointing front.....also have 2 seio 620 in each corner....pointing each other....just seems I have a lot of dead spots.......I really dont want to have pumps wiring hanging in the tank.......maybe with the return from the sump I could do somthing.....any suggestion

enductors might be a little to strong for a tank that is only 4 ft long, but I agree that a closed loop will be the answer to more circulation

brian, why dont you just upgrade the seios to the 1100s? that should be plenty flow for that size tank. i was thinking that was your plan though?

Wait, you have the Seio 620s pointed at each other? That means when the flows hit, its sort of in the center.

Have you tried opposite ended, one in the front and the other in back of the tank pointed stright across? It might look a little ugly, but it will move more flow since the flow is not hitting the flow from the other pump.

I dont think the flow is hitting each other.......the right pump is facing the center glass and the left is facing the center tank.....just dont think the seio are strong enough

For the price,I don't think you can beat using maxijets.I have four 1200's hooked to a Redsea wavemaker & have great flow in the tank(also 4 ft length).I know they look a bit unsightly, but they are reliable & very low maintenance. You could also do the closed loop,as suggested & hook it to a SCWD.You will loose some flow due to back pressure, but it will cause some random flow.HTH
