can anyone suggest what to put in a 6g nano and does anyone have one availbe.

A (Danner) Mag 1.5 with a small valve in case you have too much flow. Look on Ebay or call Desert Pet.

Rio 50's work fine to and already have a valve on them. Try Oasis Tropical, Desert Pet or Petland, though I dont know if Petland carries the Rio line. With small pumps like this, buy a new one...they are cheap enough.

2nd a small rio 50 or a single 90. Tons of flow, tiny package size and they are adjustable / reliable and even have a small flat diffuser to aim the water flow.

If you were to micro plumb the tank, a microjet 404 or 606 would be a great choice as they are adjustable flow wise.
