water paramaters ok?

Yesterday I got my water checked for the Salinity and the Alkalinity the salinity was way high 1.030 and the Alk was 6.4dkh

Today I checked some things but I dont have a really good testers so this is what I got anyways
Nitrate: 10
ph:8.2
nitrite 0-0.05
amonia 0.25

Again this is not 100% accurate since my tester kit is not the best. Should I be worried about anything and what should I do?
Today I took out 1 1/2 gallons of the water from my tank and replaced it with regular water to bring the salinity down.

if this is a new setup just cycling no problem but if its been setup for some time the ammonia should be 0 the nitrite 0 and the nitrate depends on alot of things did you do ant cleaning of the system in the last few days?

My tank is still new, It has been up for aprox 1 1/2 months now Everyday I clean my glass to keep it crysytal clean. Taking off the diatom that gets stuck on.

I would invest in a decent alk , ph and Cal test kits very important to know these once tanks is settled in

i would try to get a refractometer if you have not ... when i used the swing arm hydrometer i had an awful time getting a consistent reading
