Water Parameters

So I did a quick search and found an old thread from 2008, figured I'd ask the question again.

What are you water parameters - for those experienced in zoas?

I have an old established 75g I am upgrading to a 105g, I want to keep some of the "easier" corals (zoas, anemones, maybe a frog spawn).

I've read for nems, PH is important - 8.2-8.2, but didn't see much else.
For Zoas - Calc-450, Alk-3.5m, Mag-1350, & PH-8.2

Are these correct? Any reason why the corals I listed can't be kept together?

the parameters to grow coral in general are for the most part the same. zoas are a little more forgiving than most lps and sps corals but stability is always the goal for success.
the only conflict i see in the corals you listed is with the anemone as it will likely move around and if your zoa happens to be underneath it as it travels it is likely done for.

pH 7.8-8.3

I'm able to keep pretty much anything with the numbers listed above.

My tank I tend to keep around Alk 8.5 dkh, Calc 420, Mag 1380, nitrates are always low, phosphates on salifert at least undetectable, never tested PH.

You are looking at different units.

There are three primary units used to measure Alkalinity: Milliequivalents per Liter (meq/L), degrees of carbonate hardness (dKH or KH), and parts per millions of calcium carbonate equivalents (ppm).

Here are the recommended values in different units of measurement: 2.5-4 meq/L, 7-11 dKH, or 125-200 ppm CaCO3 equivalents
