water sand rock which order

I finally finalized my plumbing yesterday. I am ready to add water sand and rock. I am not sure the best order to do so I was thinking water rock then sand. Also would it be wise to test my plumbing and everything before I put any of these elements in my tank

I generally do a flush of my system before i add anything. use fresh water to test plumbing then clean it up... about to do it where i have plumbed 5 tanks together...

yeah I was thinking of filling it up with hose water and draining it after to test it beofer water goes in guess I am going to be busy tonight

i read somewhere if u r using live sand pour in maybe about 25% of water then put the live sand in then put a garbage bag to cover the sand then pour the rest of the water then add the live rock. worked good for me IMO
