Ok .. just entertain me here. I have reviewed lots of salt water mixing station threads on this site, all great. I plan to set mine up within the next week. I do have a few questions:

1. Using food grade 60 gallon blue drums. I have lots of these from my winery, so will clean a few and use these. They have two screw caps at the top, maybe 3 inch diameter.Plan to drill a hole in one and feed RODI water line into it. I assume, keeping the RODI water system fairly air tight, is good?

2. Silly .. I know .. gotta ask. How long can you safely store RODI water? I assume, as long as it's sealed nicely as I am doing above, really no limit? No need to circulate it, etc?

3. Once I move RODI water into barrel below, do I need to keep constant cirulation of stored salt water? How long could I store this salt water?

I use 60 gallons of saltwater ever two weeks and I go through about 120 gallons of rodi every two weeks mine are not sealed just the lid sitting on top.

I turn on a pump sitting in the saltwater container about 5 minutes every hour.

I go thru 32 g. of sw every two weeks. About twice that in RO/DI. I keep the SW circulating with a powerhead. RO/DI is w/o circulation.
