Water testing for a mini reef

Ok iam working on starting a 29g mini reef.. low to med light and water flow level beginner mushrooms,polyps,softies...

what are the required water tests..?

what are the recomended water test?

here are the perameters from RHF. [which you may already have]

test for everything in table 1, and Nitrate/Nitrite in table 2
after your cycle, ammonia and nitrite only need testing once in a while

you'll get lots of feedback on favorite kits. personally, I like the LaMotte kits. not all the tests you need are offered, however. Salifert and Elos are good alternatives.
For pH I'd recommend a probe and for salinity/SG a refractometer.
Additionally, make sure you're using RO/DI water for topoff and new salt mix. Have a TDS meter to check the quality of water coming out of the unit.
