We've decided to have one more get together before the end of the year. The plans are to meet at Jeremy's and hang out in his shop area drink some beers and chat abit. If anyone wants to work on any type of a project feel free to bring it along.....maxi-mods, home made rock etc. Anyones invited, if those who are planning on comming could post on this thread so we can get some what of a head count for posible food items. Thinking we'll meet around 3 or so.......Thanks Jason

I'll be there as well possibly the wife if I decide to bring her! ;)

December 9th right? What time?

I might have to make a few more rocks.........for my new tank........that I HAD to have........Maybe if I make a frame we can fill it up with fun rock designs

Anybody want to try and make some maxi-mods while we're there? I'm up for it. Wouldn't mind making some frag plugs/discs too. If you're going to be making rock it should be pretty easy.

Ide be down with doing some mods but i dont have any mj's to mod at the moment. Im tring to buy a cpl off of Joe S. but he's in DM. Once i get ahold of him and see if i can them ill see about either ordering some kits, or buying the parts, whatever is cheaper/easier. We could definetly make some rock and stuff though.

Not sure if it's easier to just buy the kit or just buy the parts and make them yourself.

I'm sure you'd save some money just doing it yourself but without seeing one in person to copy it might be a little tougher.

9th of December

I sure hope my tank looks better by then, its looking pretty sad at the moment. I would gladly take snail and crab donations.

Another thing we could do is demonstrate how to mount plugs with construction epoxy. I have 10 boxes of the stuff so i guess we might as well use it. Ill have some for sale if anyone needs some.

I've been trying to figure out an easy way to make those plugs.....I've seen like 18 different kinda of plugs and the only ones I really like are made out of something really close to ceramic......small easy to place and they looked cheap to make.......anyone for ideas????

I have some old ceramic tiles from when I tiled my kitchen we can cut up! I even have the saw to do it with.

I think "gooch" makes the ones that the filter guys sell. I was following his build thread for a while on his tank and he made all his rock out of like modeling clay or something and then fired it in a kiln. So I assume he's the one making them.
