Watermark

If I am not generally using PS, what is the fastest/best way to watermark an image ?

Create a new layer and put whatever you want as a watermark onto it, then reduce the opacity of the new (watermark) layer to something that is reasonable. This layer should be above the Background layer. Presto! Quick and dirty watermark.

You could also probably google "photoshop watermark tutorial" for a more in-depth tutorial about creating watermarks.
