wave box and corner over flow

its a 48L x 18D x 24H tank, the over flow sits in the left corner, how well would a wave box work in a tank like this?

It would work, the wave would probably only be 1/2"-3/4" and the overflow may have some splashing noise.

It's a matter of opinion. I use one on a 48" tank and I think it is worth it, but it isn't possible to use it as your only flow source.

well, i was gonna do 2 x 6000 and a 7095 for my flow and a wavebox cause i like looking at things swaying back and forth

I think that would be fine, depending on the corals and substrate, 1 6000 or 1 6100 may be enough. I might start with 1 6000.

i use a wavebox and a 6000 right now, but I want to add another 6000 or 6100 to the tank to get additional water movement.

in the case of a single 6000 or 6100 would you then do the 7091 (the single controller)
im looking to replace 4 x 620's seio's, and a maxi jet prop mod'ed powerhead
i have one torch coral, one open bran, one closed, mushrooms, polyps, two monti caps, 3 sps colonies, and some small sps frags.
the substrate is a mixture of finer and larger particles, with mostly larger particle stuff up top (1/4 - 1/2 inch big stuff)

I woul probably buy the wavebox and 6000 first. From there you can decide if you need more and choose a controller later.

Here is a video of it on my 75g tank (48Lx18Dx20H) with a corner overflow (left). I usually don't keep the wave this high, but this is what is can do.
