Wave box Box size

Hey, I have the wavebox. What would happen if I increased the size of the box?

Could I get a longer "pull" of the water? I see the water pulls towards the wavebox about an inch, does the size of the box controll this?

Basically im thinking of a bare bottom tank that has more pull to it on the bottom.

It would only have a benefit at the lowest frequencies where the box is nearly emptied.

so increasing box size will not allow a wave to be made, because all tanks have one frequency?

Also, the sponge inside the box around the stream gets really dirty. I removed this because I dont want excessive nitrates to be developing. Is there a problem with it not being on? So far its a little bit noisy without the sponge but I dont care my tank is already way too loud

The sponge mainly dampens vibration.

Every tank has it's own frequency and on a big tank where the frequency is long, the current box can get pumped down to empty, in that case a bigger box and 6200 transformer could give more umph, but in the majority of cases- tanks under 8 ft long, you won't see any improvement.
