Wave box conflict with aquascaping?

I have a wavebox and a 125g tank that ill be setting up in a few months and was wondering if there was anything I should aviod when doing the aquascaping.

I'm thinking of some sort of a arch that the fish can swim through just off center to the left side of the tank that will go from the bottom to mid back of the tank, arch upand come down in the fromt of the tank. The wavebox will be on the right wall.

As for placement of the wavebox I wanted to "build it in" to the aquascaping with great stuff foam. So is there a sweet spot that I have to mess with before I do that, or can I just place it in the middle of the right wall at the top and be done.

PS The wavebox will still be removable if need be for cleaning I am going to wrap the wavebox in waxpaper to mold out the spot for it.

Can you give me the tank dimensions? The key element is that the wavebox have minimal obstructions between the outlet and the far wall of the tank.

72x18x22 are the tank dimensions. I can work on placing the wavebox so that it will "fire" through the opening if thats what you aiming after.

From the wavebox on one end of the tank to the wall on the other end of the tank there should be no major obstructions, no big rock structures, no overflow boxes- a few branches or the taper end of a slope is fine. You tank is fairly narrow so you could place it anywhere on the side where you can meet these criteria.

So what im taking from this is that I should be ok as long as the wavebox has a clear shoot too the other side of the tank?

Yeah having a clear shot across the tank is really important. It made a really big difference with my wavebox.

I have a similar question, i am setting up a 220 tank with corner overflows. Would placing the wavebox on the back wall next to the overflow pointing at the opposite end work? I plan on doing a few islands down the middle, so i will have a open shot.

Would it be on the side mounted in front of the overflow or mounted on the overflow aimed toward the other side?

It only has mounts on the back so it isn't possible to mount it that way. It really needs to go on a sidewall.
