Wave Box make no Wave (Help)

Just got my Tunze nano wave maker today and it makes no wave what so ever. it's running and I can see water in the box rise up and down, moreover, the unit make a very loud noise.

This is for my 50 G tank. I do have a corner overflow, could that be a reason?

any suggestion? Thanks

Make a small adjustment at the time, stop and observe for at least 1 min before making another adjustment. If i could pull 3+" on a 75g , you shouldn't have any problem with your.

Make sure there is not obstruction at the front nozzle...

What are the tank dimensions? Can you describe the noise- hum or clicking or a banging noise?
