Wave Box Opinions

should I put a wave box on a four foot 120 gal tank? I know they work best with 6 foot tanks but how bad can it be on a 4 footer? stress points on glass? anyone with experience might chime in?

Ive never used one but ive seen them in action.

My opinion is that if you already dont have sweet random flow either via something like Tunzes on a controller or a OM unit on a cls, you should defintely invest in one of those options first as they will provide you with a heck of a lot more benefit than a wavemaker

Dont get me wrong...they are cool...but should be added in addition to sweet overall random tank flow, not to be relied upon for it

works fine. I got a 1.5 inch wave with it.

just go to youtube and look up 'wavebox'... there are some good vids of 120s and 75s there...
