Wave Box - Question

Hi,

I Just bought one, and I have doubts

In the channel master, the pump does not pulse, is this right ?

Only in the channel slave the pump pulse

Another question, the wave box just works with lights on ??? I heard that you can´t take off the photo cell

The pump should pulse on the master channel, I suspect the soldering of the cable to the board for the master cable may have broken. I have seen this happen from the cable being twisted or rough shipping, it is pretty easy to fix. If you open it you can check, 3 wires should be soldered to the board for each cable. You can take off the photocell and run it at night.

Well, I turn on my wave box this night

And I can´t reach the resonance frequency.....I change the potentiometer, minimum, maximum, medium....and nothing.....no wave in my tank :-(

I have a 160G tank....

I don´t know what I have to do.....I also changed the speed control of the pump, to 30% , 50% and 100%......nothing.....no wave....

How many time I have to wait to change the frequency if I don´t have a wave ?

Yesterday I waited more ou less 5 minutes before change......

I usually wait about 30 seconds and turn it only a very small turn, the width of a needle at most.

Leave the pump at full power, the box has to be on the side of the tank aimed to the other side with as few things in the way as possible.

The tune have to be very precise in the potentiometer
