I have seen some discussion in the past about putting a wave maker (tunze) in a glass tank can cause undue stress on the seems and cause problems. Does anyone have any information to back this up or prove this theory wrong?
I am getting a 400g 6'x3'x3' tank made with 3/4" glass and eurobraced. What I am thinking is to use XTM or XTR (can't remember) DIY wave box thread to build 2 wave boxes external to the tank, like and external overflow.
