So right now I have 3 power heads hooked up to a wave maker. My question is to use the sponge on the bottom of the intake on power heads, does that or can that cause an issues with nitrate to farm?
Purpose of the sponge for me at this point...
I moved a bunch of rocks around to make room for more BTAs. The underside of the rocks has some loose algae on it so I did not want that to get caught up in the motors. (got most as much off with syphon)
Its Xmas day and this was a last min thing I was just thinking about doing.
