Wave Possible with 1

WOW that was quick. I can already see the problem. Too many 90s. You should have ran more flex pipe. Mike helped me with my plumbing. It turned out great. almost competly silent and I am running a Dart as my return. I will try to get some pics up tonight.

Yeah, I tried to keep it nice and neat and easy...guess form over function was not the best in this case.

Where was Mike when I needed him...LOL

I would remove the shut off valves and run flex line to the bulkfittings on your sump. This should make a big difference in flow and sound.

Just dump the flex into the sump without that glass lid too? I was using that for salt spray on the return pump. I need this thing quieted before turkey day as family is coming to my place and this was my wife's only request of me for that day.

I would keep the bulkheads on the sump and have the flex line go to those. Also have a nipple come out of the bulkheads that extends about 2inches under the water surface. You will get a better idea once I get home and get some pics up. Are you running a durso, gurglebuster or what in the overflow?

I am running the standard AGA overflow kits. I just got off the phone with Mike again and he said your system is dead silent. That is exactly what I need ;) Hopefully, between the 3 of us, we can get this gremlin fixed.

The returns and the manifold.

Notice how there is only 2 90s in the whole setup. Just lots of 45s and flexline. Mike also had the drain lines cross to gain extra length. This helps with the flushing gurgle.

Man, that is some nice work there Jeremy. Looks really clean. Mike done you good.

I just got off the phone with Mike again and have a solid game plan for mine now. Hope to tackle it this Sunday.

Thanks for sharing your pics. BTW...been trying to get a wave going all night. No such luck yet. I am sure the foam sleeve is killing that chance. Like mentioned earlier though, even at 100%, doesn't seem like the flow is making it to the opposit end. Nothing is moving anymore than normal down there.
