wave question

I'm excited to put waves in the tank finally with the wp40's.. but have a question.

Does anyone know if pulsing one of these pumps in a wave box (tunze wavebox like) improve anything over just pulsing a plain pump no box?

Tank is 200 gal 60x30x24

It creates a back and forth motion that can help pull stuff out of cracks and crevices. A regular tunze just ramps up and down no real wave motion do to speak.
