Wavebopx question

I have a custom acrylic 50g TALL tank (32" x 18" x 24")and I was going to drill for a closed loop, but I am thinking of maybe getting flow without all that drilling.

Is a wavebox going to be too much for that size tank?

Does the wavebox have just the one opening? If yes, would it be a possibility to install within the overflow and have that opening ported to the display? My center overflow is really quite big and this would be an ideal use of the extra space.

Thanks.

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing but on a much larger tank. I would love to have the box in side the overflow. Is there any way to attach a bulk head to the opening or any other way of sealing around thw exit hole of the wave box with out making it permanent ?

I did some reading (probably should have done that first...), and it seems my tank would be too small to see benefit, and also, the wavebox should be on the end of the tank and not so cental as you'd have i on a centre overflow - even if facing to one of the ends and not across the width.

I really like the idea though, and think the movement looks really natural compared to other wavemaking devices. When I have the space for a big tank the wavebox will be in the design for sure.
