Wavebox 6206

First off, this thing is awesome. Everything in my tank loves it, and everyone who visits the place is floored.

My question, just started running the 6206 and am forced (because of the acrylic tank bracing) to run it slightly lower than the recommended water line. I was still able to program the item so that it gave me the exact wave I was looking for, but it also makes an audible thump every time the pump initiates. Not the normal click. Is this a common issue? Can it be fixed?

A dull thump would be normal, there is not much that could be done to solve this. It may reduce with a longer run time but it will never be silent.
