Wavebox and AGA/Oceanic off center MegaFlows..

Anyone have this combo? Will the wave cause splashing in the overflow well? I was looking through the online manual and noticed that Tunze recommends a overflow in the center of the tank, which I guess, makes sense.
So again, does anyone have this combo and does it work well?

TIA

I have done it on older Oceanic tanks with corner overflows and the only draw back is some splash (use a durso pipe, it helps) and the wave is shorter as some energy is lost in the spill over.

I don't have an Oceanic setup but I do have an off center overflow. Using a Durso standpipe or similar flow control mechanism will almost certainly be necessary to control noise.

My overflow has a narrow sweet spot that took some patience to find. Too much flow and it drains completely when the water level drops at the overflow making lots of noise. Too little flow and it fills completely when the wave rises.

I believe the Oceanic overflows use slots but is there any space between the top of the overflow and any cover you use or do you leave it uncovered? I had to put a grate over the top of the overflow to keep things from going in as the wave rises above the overflow wall.
