Wavebox and detritius removal problem...

I do not have a mechanical filter on my system, just a EV240 protein skimmer which has ceased to produce since adding the wavebox. How do I get rid of the detritius which is moving nicely around the tank ?

The wavebox helps to keep detirtus in suspension.
You need other intank or from sump flow to push it to the overflows into the skimmer.

How long has it not worked for. It may take a little time.

try a filter sock

You do not need additional in tank pump for water motion. While the Wavebox creates a wave it also creates circilar water motion which moves the detritus all over the tank!

A filter sock may help.
