thanks...i've already read that and about 3 other threads today. I know I can do it except the actual timer. Someone showed a link to this one timer and someone just bought it to try it out, but hasn't had time to hook it up yet. I'm just waiting to hear the news.
but I was wondering if a seio or maybe tunze nanostream could be used instead of the maximod, because of all the "problems" with maximods.
also if someone built one of these...how big does the actual box have to be because I was watching the video's on youtube and all the boxes they have barely fill halfway with water...to me that would mean the box only needs to be half the size???
Also does anyone know where to get some black acrylic for cheap down here? if black is too expensive I may just do clear and who knows...I just don't want the whole algae build up inside the box.
