Wavebox failure

My wavebox has died. I have owned it for just over 12 months. It has been used very infrequently, I turn it on every now and again but have never set it up for regular use.

I noticed it had stopped working and checked out the equipment. The round transformer seems to have blown up, the whole thing is deformed and bulging out at the sides.

I assume this is an easy replacement part but I am more concerned at why this happened so that I can prevent it failing again.

Any suggestions? Do you need more info?

Now thats what I call service. I rang Aquadepot Imports, the Australian distributor and they will fix it - no problems, no fuss. I guess thats why these products are great.
