Wavebox flow

Is there a way to figure out how much flow you are getting from a wave box. (volume of box emptied every 4 sec.....). Has some one all ready done this?

Take the L*W*H of the wave in mm- this will give you a volume in cubic millimeters that you can convert to liters. Divide the volume by 2 since the wave is actually half of this. Multiply this result by the wave frequency in seconds then multiply this result by 3600 for the Liters per Hour, divide by 3.78 for GPH.

Wow! Check my math. On a 72" X 24" tank with a 1.5" wave every 3 seconds I get 4682 GPH. That is incredible.
