Wavebox mounted on back

Since the Nano wavebox can be mounted on the back. Why can't the regular wavebox be mounted on the back?

The nano wavebox pump has less than 1/3rd the power of the wavebox pump. The wave is largely created by displacement. With the full size wavebox it is a combination of displacement and flow and the wave won't form properly as a result, even with the nano wavebox when mounted on the back the wave is shorter and slightly irregular with a slight corner to corner cresting.
