Wavebox on a Rubbermaid 100g

I have a frag system that is a Rubbermaid 100g tank. It's about 4 feet long, and about 2 feet wide, but the short sides are a little rounded. I've got the wavebox going and I can't seem to get much of a wave... I think I've got it set about 1 o'clock and that seems to produce the best wave. However, it's may be a 1/2" wave and the wave increases height and decreases slightly so it's inconsistent. I have an over flow on the back middle of the tank. Any ideas?

How long should I wait after I make an adjustment?

Thanks

i think rounded corners may be messing it up

using a wavebox on a rubbermaid reminds me of "one crazy summer" when they put the ferrari engine on the fishing boat before the regatta

I think the round corners may have an effect. It is best to just slowly turn the knob until you start to get a wave and then make very fine adjustments in that range to get the max height. I am really unsure how it will work in a tank with the round ends.

Thats what I was thinking... I saw a video on youtube that a guy posted and had a 3" wave on a 75g. I may end up putting it on a 120 I use for a display system. Would I be able to get a 2-3" wave on a standard 120?

Maybe, I know the video and that guy was kind of an exception. He had a hang on overflow and his tank layout permitted a much larger than normal wave. 1" is more typical on a 4ft tank.
