wavebox photo cell, what exactly does?

Hi, I just received my wavebox, and I didn't quite get the photo cell accesory. Does it shut down the wavebox when the lights go out?, and what is the use on that?, is it good for the wavebox to not work at night or what?. Or does it just change to some kind of night mode?

i think it turns the wavebox into night mode. when your light go out. is should either shut your wave box off or slow it down to mimic the real ocean conditions.

it shuts the wavebox down completely.

Yes, it shuts it off at night, whether or not you use it is personal preforance. I don't but some people want the wave stopped due to noise or to simulate calmer night seas.
