wavebox pump

Quick background info:
I have just upgraded from my 125 to a 220. For increased flow I purchased a wavebox. Before switching all of my corals, etc over I decided to try it out. I couldn't get it to work at all (as in not even turn on). I have since purchased two 6000's and the 7095 controller. These have been fantastic. Still learning the controller, but they do turn on!

I took the pump out of the wavebox and checked it out. Everything looks ok. I put it alone in a bucket of water to see if I could get it to turn on. When I plug everything in both the red and the green LED lights come on the controller. If I press the food timer, the red LED goes off for a few minutes then comes back on but the green LED stays lit and the pump never comes on.

Questions:
-Any idea what's going on?

-If it is the controller, can I use the 7095 for it as well as the two 6000's?

-If I find I can't use the wavebox at all (my overflows are pretty high and on the ends instead of the middle), can I pull the pump out and use it without the wavebox as well as the 6000's on the 7095?

Thanks for your help!

Does the pump run when no controller is attached? The wavebox pump is not designed for non pulsing use, it draws too much power and will burn up. I would get the controller repaired or replaced it should be under warranty.

Wow! Quick response! Thank you!
I wasn't sure if I could do that without hurting it so I didn't try before. i just tried and yes, it works.
I would like to send the controller in to get it repaired. Do I need an authorization code or anything?
So am I corrrect in assuming I can't use the wavebox with the 7095-even in pulse mode?

No, I assume you are in the US? My guess is one of the wires in the cable snapped, it is a pretty simple fix.
