Wavebox stopped working

Roger,

I have tandem wavebox's and one has simply stopped working. I noticed my wave was smaller and checked the controller etc and found that the nonfunctioning wavebox transformer? (the round heavy thingy) was much hotter than the one that was still working. I disengaged it from the controller hoping that the pump would turn on continuously but still got nothing. Please advise.

First dissassemble the wavebox and check the pump. Make sure everything is clean and working properly. Try it after that. If still nothing swap the driver with your working pump and try that, it is always either a pump obstruction or the driver but don't swap drivers until you check the pump or you will just fry both of them.

Ok Rodger...finally got to it and isolated the problem. I made sure the stream was not stuck with debris and traded with the working wavebox. It seems its not the transformer. The good wavebox will run with second transformer, so i believe the problem is with the driver.
