Waveboxes only? Or do I need power heads too

Hi,

Ive recently purchased 2 Tunze Waveboxes for my 6ftx2ftx2ft. What I was wondering was since they seem to be doing an amazing job of flow within the display do I need power heads at all? The only problem I see is that there is nothing breaking the water surface ie oxygenation of the water BUT I do have a horizontal overflow which seems to do quite well so I just need a few opinions from you guys if thats ok. Thanks

You will need Powerhead for directional flow. The wavebox only generate wave motion but not random directional type.

You don't need 2 wavebox to handle a 6x2x2. You should be able to achieve 2" of wave with just 1 wave box.

The power head will help breaking the surface as well
