Wavemaker feed mode

Just a wanted to know what you all do when feeding... Do you feed running wavemakers as normal or switch to feed mode.

I have never used a feed mode and my fish do ok at getting food.

I have varying sizes of fish I'm my tank and just wondering if the smaller guys are being out swam at feeding time

I do have a feed mode option but I never use it. The fish don't seem to mind chasing their food. And in the wild, the waves do not stop to allow the fishes to eat. :0)

I understand it's more about allowing the food to be consumed rather than go into the overflow but I don't find that to be a problem.
