wavemaker sound..

I was wondering what the normal sound levels for the wave maker are like.. i have had mine going for over a month now and its still as loud if not louder then when I took it out of the box.. The surging of this pump is heard above all other equipment... is this normal?

You will generally hear a sort of darth vader brething noise and some pump hum. What model do you have 6215 or 6212?
