currently i have a rock that is about 6/8 covered in pink zoas (it looks nice), recently i acquired some bam bam oranges. Is there a way short of fragging (the pinks) that i can get the oranges to spread faster on the rock to cover mroe area and create a nice collage of orange and pink? For the month that Ive had the oranges they haven't spread very fast but the pinks spread very quickly.

btw rock is near bottom of structure so i cant remove it wo frag the pinks without ruining my enitre rockwork.

i dont think there is a way to get them to grow any faster just the usual methods and thats let them be and keep your water params in good shape. Once they get settled in they should start to grow.

i have the same problem on various rocks, and i just frag the excess growth. i've found that when zoos decide they like your water, they really snowball

Some zoa's just grow faster than others. My pinks have taken off, but my more colorful zoas are quite slow. I've discovered that if you've just fragged them and the conditions are good-flow & light they often tend to grow faster or multiply quicker than if they were not fragged. So I guess you can try fragging them if you want them to grow a bit more. Just my experience.
