WC water gone bad?

Hey all,
So I mixed some water for a WC 3 days ago with reef crystals but never got around to doing the WC. So today I go to do the WC and when I went to check the salinity I see a bunch a stuff in the refractometer. I looked In The mixing container, which was clean to begin with, and there is debris floating everywhere and all kinds of stuff growing on the walls, pump and heater in the mixing container.

I scooped a little bit out and took the best picture I could take but there is so much stuff in there.

Worst part is, there are living things in this water! Very similar to copepods and amphipods but where did they come from?

Mosquito larvae?

Can't really tell but was the container covered? Mosquitos would die in salt water.

Never seen that before figure salt would kill most.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too and that's why I didn't cover it. I thought It was just dust from the garage and house but when I scooped water out there were small pod like thingys moving around on the wall of the cup.

Dump it start fresh. Maybe you accidently left some pods in the container?

Sorry guys work got super busy this week.
I dumped it and will give it a vinegar bath. I was thinking it could be pods that got transferred in with the heater I use to warm up the water but I didnt think they could populate that fast?!
Coincidentally I now have mosquitos everywhere in my home. To the point that I am going to homedepot today after work to see if i can find something to get rid of them because my wife and I have bites all over us.
