We have been working on this room off and on for months now and it looks like our larva and brood stock system could come oneline in the next week or so.

From the start.

First order of business is the replace the garage doors and make two rooms and a closet. Luckly the garage already have HVAC run.

Everything in this room will be inline with my 300 gallon reef. This is really only if I run out of room in the main room. So it is on hold for the time being and serves more as I storage area.

Now I painted the walls and sellaced the ceiling. Also started building the larva system.

Brood stock tanks are on the left(yellow stand) and the larva system (red stand) is on the right. I also added five 20 amp lines into the room.

I had plans to finish up the plumbing tonight, but I am missing that one piece :(

Here are the grow out tanks. I will start working on this after the other two are up and running.

Very nice. Wish mine was as organized as yours. Keep posting pics i'm very interested in following. BTW where did you get the black tubs?

Hey Will!
I had not seen this thread until now- NICE!!! I have been talking to Steve about possible visit/work party to lend a hand if you like...?(Please can PM me if you want to discuss)

Very nice, looking forward to watching this progress. Maybe I'll get some ideas for my soon-to-be fish room. :)

@Tom Thanks, the tubs are from Southern States. They are muck buckets so any livestock store should have them. They are cheap and very solid.

@ctenophors rule Thanks. Not sure on what is going into the brood tanks atm. Most of the seahorse pairs we have seem comfy in their current tanks and its no problem getting the babies. Only for sure at this point is a spawning pair of percs.

@teesquare Sounds great!

@Zero Cool What are you planning? Please share :)

@Ezhoops Krylon spray paint.

Well, we already have a space perfect for the setup - what used to be a computer repair shop - so there are electrical outlets everywhere and plenty of room... once we clean it out.
I'll be picking up my first couple of spawning clowns tomorrow, an onyx pair and a snowflake/b&w pair. I expect it to take maybe a month or so for them to get back in the groove of spawning, so during that time I'll be setting up the fish room and rotifer cultures. Will probably start off with just a few tanks, 2x10gal for the broodstock, 2x5.5gal hatching tanks, and 2x20gal growout tanks.
Later on I know I'll be adding tanks and upgrading, probably to a 40br with divisions for the broodstock tank and several hatching tanks all plumbed together. Will probably buy a couple of those 100gal stock tanks from tractor supply co. for growout tanks.
Eesh, I've got a lot of work ahead of me, lol. Once I get something going, I'll be posting in this forum more. :D

Correction: Meant to say that the growout tanks will be plumbed with the broodstock tanks. The hatching tanks will obviously be separate, heh.
