we have a stand to leg on

cool and sure thing. yeah all the companies use black adn white and green except ice cap. they use blue and yellow to make it easier to not mess up. meaning hooking the wrong white and black to the wall. that might be bad.

Yea I had to laugh at my post. I stood there looking at it and said "I'm not going to blow this one up" and just called to make sure. I'm so use to having anything coming out of a light kit being blue and yellow and then when I saw the MH connections were Black and White it was like "I plug that in to power"? I was looking everywhere on the MH for the yellow and blue wires - LOL. I was a military contractor for many years and this would not pass our QA, but that's the reason all that cost so much but lives are a stake so that's the end of that story. Thanks again for your help last night, I think I'll make a drawing and instructions post a copy and send it to some of these vendors :D

shoot if you think that is bad check out a pulse start replacement ballast. caps laying around. the white wire actually goes to the wall plug bundled with 3-5 other wires. can't remember off the top of my head but it's pretty ugly. ice cap actually made it pretty nice. nobody wants to use interchangeable connections because they are ummmm? I better not say I have been kicked off here for that before. tell the truth and some people can't take it. oh well good luck

Yea I'm finding out how sensitive people can be. I hope no one would ever take anything I say personal. It's the whole point of having a site like this - enter change of ideas, thoughts and "Opinions" even though they might not be what you would do or think. the two of us had our own opinions about the T5 ballast but we both understand. Thanks again Robert and I'll talk to you later.

Oh the video is great, I showed it to my friend and she thought it was an eclipse LOL. Hey, I'm going to pick up a frogspawn tonight from reef hamster. It'll be the first coral in the new lite 65G!! The lighting looks great, much better than the VHO's. Got to run I'll talk to ya in a bit.

i tracked my order for my pump and it is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.but the tracking info still shows it in transit to jacksonville,im kinda doubtfull it will arrive tomorrow.i can test the valve with a pump we have at work but it aint no dart and really isnt a great test pump for this.

It still might make it. Man that will suck if you have to wait until Monday for the Dart. That looks so cool, I can't wait until you get it on your tank and see what it can do.

if it's in jacksonville in the shipping system it will be here tomorrow. florida is next day normally and if it is from somewhere else and made it to florida already it will be on a truck first thing in the morning. 99% of the time at least. you may have my 1 % luck though.

it isnt in jacksonville yet as far as i see(unless it hasnt updated yet).it says in transit to jacksonville from LA.id hate to have to wait at work on saturday for it.

it says in route to jacksonville? that is weird I have never seen a package in route to a sorting station. hmmm hopefully tomorrow still.

reef where does your skimmer water dump? in the sock is the best place I have found. maybe the water through the sump is too fast? hard to say from here of course.

I vote on returning the dart when you get it and just to johns tomorrow and buy his, lol, hell, i'll go with you. i need to get some food anyways. LoL screw waiting, patience is for the weak...

Reefartist, i would get a flashlight and closely look at your sump, and check where those micro bubbles are coming from, microbubbles are a pain at the least, and it finally took a filter sock, a few prefilters and a wall of active carbon to eliminate mine.

Hey not my sump, OK maybe but once I get the design down I have a very friendly reefer that offered to help me make a new one - Mmmmm wonder you that would be?

That's for the info Gimplar - I know I have some work to do in that department - LOL. I glanced at it this morning and can see where I having the bubbles. we'll see if it's a quick fix or a dissemble job.
