We Have Mantis

Well I finally got my Lr in today and lets just say I think i have more than i want of Mantis shrimp. I have 2 in a tub thats green in color and around 2 inches in lenght. I know of 2 more that I couldnt get out of the lr without killing them so I put them in anyway and I'll try for them later. What kind are green in color?
These are neat little critters with what seems to be a lot of personality.

All species can come in pretty much any color..... Post a couple nice pics up and it will quickly be identified by the experts here.

Those of us that want them never have that kind of luck! It took me over 4 months to get another one after I lost my last one! You should really keep one.

:lol: My mantis was free, but it cost me another $200 for a tank and rock. I gave his tank to an anemone and a pair of clowns. 40 gallons was probably a little large for a 2 1/2" mantis.
