Weaning Glass Cardinalfish-Apogon leptacanthus off of mysis to pellets or flakes?

I've had six in the past and could never get them off the frozen stuff and on to pellets or flakes they are just too timid and shy. Red spot cardinals on the other hand are like little devils that go after everything that hits the water and extremely hardy and by far my favorite cardinals.

I may have to look into a few of those. I love the glass cardinals though.
