Weird algae/polyps

Hey guys and gals, I picked up 70lbs of live rock for my body's new tank, there is some weird brown polyp like algae stuff. Anyone no what it is? And what will eat it, fox face??

Looks like hydroids to me. Does it react if you put something into it? Better pictures would help.
